Philippians Read Through (3rd Time)

Find the following phrases and write what verses they are in Philippians:

• “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
• “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”
• “Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  Rejoice!”
• “And the peace of God , which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
• “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
• “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus”

• Think about how each of these verses could be misunderstood.
• How would people twist some of these verses to make God their slave?
